I need some new trees in the garden

I need a new tree in our garden.

The winter has been hard here in Oslo.

the boxwood har turned yellow,

and the butterfly bush is dead;-(

So:

I would like something with nice leafs,

It can not grow to high

And it would be lovely if it was on a nice stem.

What would you recommend?
